Bismuth Trioxide (CAS No. 1304‑76‑3) Is An Inorganic Oxide Of Bismuth And A Molecular Weight Of 465.96 G/Mol. It Appears As A Yellow To Orange Crystalline Powder, Insoluble In Water But Soluble In Acids. Synonyms Include Bismuth(III) Oxide, Dibismuth Trioxide, And Bismuth Sesquioxide. Industrially, It Is Used In The Manufacture Of Ceramics, Glass, And Pigments, As Well As In Electronic Materials Due To Its High Dielectric Properties. It Also Serves As A Catalyst In Organic Synthesis And A Precursor For Bismuth Salts.
