It is a colorless viscous liquid, which is derived from butane by placement of alcohol groups at each end of the chain. Known for its effectiveness and puririty, it is one of four stable isomers of butanediol.

1-Propanol

Avail from us 1-Propanol, which is a colorless liquid also known as propan-1-ol, 1-propyl alcohol, n-propyl alcohol, n-propanol, or simply propanol. An isomer of isopropanol (2-propanol), this chemical is extensively used as a solvent in the pharmaceutical industry. Besides, these are also used as solvent for resins and cellulose esters.

2-2-Methoxyethoxy Ethanol

2-2-Methoxyethoxy Ethanol
2-2-Methoxyethoxy Ethanol

2-(2-Methoxyethoxy)ethanol, also known under trade names Methyl Carbitol, is an industrial solvent. It is a clear, colorless, hygroscopic liquid. Structurally it is an alcohol and an ether, with a formula CH3OCH2CH2OCH2CH2OH. At direct contact it causes drying of skin by leaching fats, and is mildly irritating to the eyes. It is flammable.

2-Butanol

This secondary alcohol is a flammable, colorless liquid that is soluble in 12 parts water and completely miscible with polar organic solvents such as ethers and other alcohols. It is produced on a large scale, primarily as a precursor to the industrial solvent methyl ethyl ketone.

2-Ethylhexanol

2-Ethylhexanol (abbreviated 2-EH) is a fatty alcohol, an organic compound is a branched, eight-carbon chiral alcohol. It is a colorless liquid that is nearly insoluble in water but soluble in most organic solvents.

2-Methyl-1-Butanol

Item Code: 137-32-6

It is used as a solvent and an intermediate in the manufacture of other chemicals. 2-Methyl-1-butanol is a component of many mixtures of amyl alcohols sold industrially.

2-Methyl-1-pentanol

Item Code: 105-30-6

2-Methyl-1-pentanol (IUPAC name) is an organic chemical compound. It is used as a solvent and an intermediate in the manufacture of other chemicals.

2-Pentanol

Item Code: 6032-29-7

2-Pentanol (IUPAC name, also called sec-amyl alcohol) is an organic chemical compound. It is used as a solvent and an intermediate in the manufacture of other chemicals. 2-Pentanol is a component of many mixtures of amyl alcohols sold industrially.

3-Methyl-2-Butanol

Item Code: 598-75-4

3-Methyl-2-butanol (IUPAC name, commonly called sec-isoamyl alcohol) is an organic chemical compound. It is used as a solvent and an intermediate in the manufacture of other chemicals.

Benzyl Alcohol

Item Code: 100-51-6

Benzyl alcohol is a colorless liquid with a mild pleasant aromatic odor. It is a useful solvent due to its polarity, low toxicity, and low vapor pressure. Benzyl alcohol is partially soluble in water (4 g/100 mL) and completely miscible in alcohols and diethyl ether.

Butanol

Butanol or butyl alcohol (sometimes also called biobutanol when produced biologically), is a primary alcohol with a 4 carbon structure and the molecular formula of C4H9OH. It belongs to the higher alcohols and branched-chain alcohols.

Chafing Fuel

Chafing fuel is a generic term for various products that are used for heating food. These products often contain methanol, ethanol, or diethylene glycol, as these may be burned safely indoors. These fuels are also used for emergency heating, outdoor cooking, and fondue.

Denatured Alcohol

Denatured alcohol is used as a solvent and as fuel for spirit burners and camping stoves. Because of the diversity of industrial uses for denatured alcohol, hundreds of additives and denaturing methods have been used.

Diethylene Glycol

Diethylene glycol (DEG) is an organic compound with the formula (HOCH2CH2)2O. It is a colorless, practically odorless, poisonous, and hygroscopic liquid with a sweetish taste. It is miscible in water, alcohol, ether, acetone, and ethylene glycol. DEG is a widely used solvent. Its use in adulterated consumer products has resulted in numerous epidemics of poisoning since the early 20th century.

Ethanol

Ethanol, also called ethyl alcohol, pure alcohol, grain alcohol, or drinking alcohol, is a volatile, flammable, colorless liquid.

Ethylene Glycol

Ethylene glycol (IUPAC name: ethane-1,2-diol) is an organic compound widely used as an automotive antifreeze and a precursor to polymers. In its pure form, it is an odorless, colorless, syrupy, sweet-tasting liquid. Ethylene glycol is toxic, and ingestion can result in death.

Glycerol

Glycerol (or glycerine, glycerin) is a simple polyol compound. It is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid that is widely used in pharmaceutical formulations. Glycerol has three hydroxyl groups that are responsible for its solubility in water and its hygroscopic nature.

Isobutanol

This colorless, flammable liquid with a characteristic smell is mainly used as a solvent. Its isomers include n-butanol, 2-butanol, and tert-butanol, all of which are more important industrially.

Isopropyl Alcohol

It is a colorless, flammable chemical compound with a strong odor. It is the simplest example of a secondary alcohol, where the alcohol carbon is attached to two other carbons sometimes shown as (CH3)2CHOH. It is a structural isomer of propanol.

Methanol

Methanol, also known as methyl alcohol, wood alcohol, wood naphtha or wood spirits, is a chemical with the formula CH3OH (often abbreviated MeOH). It is the simplest alcohol, and is a light, volatile, colorless, flammable liquid with a distinctive odor very similar to, but slightly sweeter than, ethanol (drinking alcohol).

N-Butanol

n-Butanol or n-butyl alcohol or normal butanol is a primary alcohol with a 4-carbon structure and the molecular formula C4H9OH. Its isomers include isobutanol, 2-butanol, and tert-butanol.

Propylene Glycol

The compound is sometimes called α-propylene glycol to distinguish it from the isomer propane-1,3-diol HO-(CH2)3-OH, also called β-propylene glycol.

Tert-Butanol

Tert-Butanol is used as a solvent, as a denaturant for ethanol, as an ingredient in paint removers, as an octane booster for gasoline, as an oxygenate gasoline additive, and as an intermediate in the synthesis of other chemical commodities such as MTBE, ETBE, TBHP, other flavors and perfumes.
